The 4-H newsletter is mailed out each month to the 4-H families in Dixon County. The newsletter will have upcoming dates to be sure to remember and also information on other activities happening in the area.

Junior Leaders In Dixon County
Jr. Leaders is a 4-H Club beyond the typical 4-H Club. Leaders commit to 4 years of membership, where they can earn money and points by doing community service and fund raising. To be a Jr. Leader, you must be 12 years of age by January 1, of the current year, and be enrolled in at least one 4-H project per year. The Jr. Leader program adds many opportunites for service and growth, as well as, long-lasting friendships. For more information view the ad for Jr. Leaders and the constitution at the links below.
4-H Animal ID Forms
Bucket calves need to be started by May 1 and Cow/calf pairs the calf can be 7 months old and younger. All Id's are due June 15.

All 4-H members who plan to enroll and show at the Dixon County Fair in the project areas of: swine, beef, sheep, dairy, meat goat, dairy goat, rabbits, and/or poultry will need to have completed a Quality Assuarance Certification Training on or before June 15, 2012.
Speech Contest will be held April21 at 6:30 pm in the auditorium at the Haskell Ag Lab, Concord
